FAQ My Orders Shopping Cart

Why Has the Cost of My PCB Order Increased?

Understanding Price Adjustments

If you notice an increase in your PCB order cost, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

Parameter Discrepancy

  • The order parameters you provided (e.g., board dimensions, layer count, or material type) may not match the actual requirements or specifications identified during our review.

  • Solution: Review the order details in your PCBPath account and update any incorrect parameters. Ensure specifications align with your design files.

Incorrect File Upload

  • Uploading the wrong or incomplete files (e.g., outdated Gerber files or missing drill files) can lead to a revised cost based on the correct specifications.

  • Solution: Verify and re-upload the correct files via the Shopping Cart page. Check our [Design Guidelines, insert link if applicable] for file requirements.

Panelization Issues

  • Problems with the panel layout, such as inefficient arrangement, non-standard panel sizes, or additional setup requirements, can increase production costs.

  • Solution: Review audit feedback for panelization issues and adjust your design if needed. Contact our team for guidance on optimizing panel layouts.
