Why Has My PCB Order Failed Audit?

Understanding and Resolving Audit Issues

If your PCB order has failed audit, it means our team identified issues that prevent it from proceeding to production. Common reasons include:

Incorrect or Incomplete Files

  • You may have uploaded the wrong file (e.g., an outdated Gerber file) or missing required files like drill files or bill of materials.

  • Solution: Verify and re-upload the correct files via your PCBPath account’s shopping cart.

Design Rule Violations

  • Issues such as minimum track width or spacing being too small, or other parameters not meeting our manufacturing capabilities.

  • Solution: Hover over the warning in your account to view specific reasons for the failure. Adjust your design accordingly.

Other Technical Issues

  • Problems like unclear layer definitions, missing solder mask, or unsupported file formats.

  • Solution: Review audit feedback sent via email or in your account for detailed guidance.
