How Long Does the Order Review Process Take?

Understanding Your PCB Order Audit Timeline

The order review process ensures your PCB or PCB Assembly (PCBA) order meets production standards. Our engineering team typically completes reviews during business hours (Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, GMT+8). Below are the estimated timeframes and key considerations:

Standard Review Timeframes

  • Standard FR4/Rogers PCB Orders: Reviews are typically completed within 30 minutes.

  • Special Standard PCB Orders: Reviews for orders with non-standard materials or features may take 1 to 4 hours.

  • PCB Assembly (PCBA) Orders: Reviews generally take 1 to 2 business days due to additional complexity, such as component sourcing or assembly specifications.

  • Premium PCB Orders: Reviews for advanced or custom orders may take 4 to 8 hours.

Factors That Affect Review Time

  • Orders with special process requirements (e.g., impedance control, specific surface finishes) or PCBA orders requiring components or non-Gerber files (e.g., bill of materials, pick-and-place files) may extend the review time.

  • Incomplete or incorrect files, such as missing Gerber files or unclear specifications, can delay the process.

  • Solution: Ensure all files and requirements comply with our meets. Include detailed notes in the Special Request field during the PCB Instant Quote process for special handling, duties, or other instructions.
