Streamlining Your PCB Assembly Process

To add a Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) order to an existing independent PCB order on PCBPath, follow these steps:

Log In to Your Account

• Sign in to your PCBPath account.

• Ensure you’re using the account associated with the existing PCB order to access your order history.
   

Access the PCB Assembly Inquiry Page

• Navigate to the PCB Assembly Inquiry page from the main menu or your My PCBPath dashboard.

• Locate the “Link to a Previous Order” option and click the Yes button to link an SMT order to a previous PCB order.
  
   

Select Your PCB Order

• In the pop-up box, choose the desired independent PCB order from the list of your previous orders.

• Verify that the selected order matches your intended project to ensure accurate assembly.
   

Complete the SMT Order Inquiry

• Proceed with the standard inquiry process by entering SMT-specific details (e.g., component placement requirements or bill of materials).

• Upload any additional files, such as a BOM (Bill of Materials) or pick-and-place files.

• Add the SMT order to your Shopping Cart, review the details, and complete the payment to confirm.
